Tools shaped by physical process

Digital tools built from a working artist — brushes, textures, and workflow systems.

ernieinks creates digital tools shaped by physical process. Built from working artist experience, each brush, texture, and tool is created to reduce the distance between an idea and bringing it to life. The goal is to support artists in developing work that is unmistakably their own.

PHYSICAL ARCHIVE
A rotating selection of prints and objects from the studio.

This month’s selection explores themes of transformation and resilience. Drawing from imagery of water, migration, and nocturnal flight, the pieces share a palette of deep blues and darker tones that reflect movement, endurance, and change. These may not be available again.

current

ABOUT

Ernie Inks came from me working as a tattoo artist and needing to draw every single day. Over time, I got really focused on finding ways to make the jump from idea to finished drawing feel smoother — building tools and little workflow tricks that helped me move faster without losing intention. At first, these were just things I made for myself. Then I started sharing them with coworkers, and eventually with other artists who were trying to figure out how to work efficiently while still developing their own unique style. That’s really all this is. Tools that helped me create with less resistance, shared with other artists who want to make work that actually feels like theirs.
